1966 Viksund Boat was establish as one of the first fiberglass boat-buildings companies in Scandinavia. Viksund Boat eventually built more than 6000 boats, and sold them all over the world to fishermen on the great African lakes and in the North Sea, to the Greenland Coast Guard, and to innumerable European crushing sailors.
Today high quality low priced boats from Jostein Viksund Design & Model Center (Pvt) Ltd; are produced in Sri Lanka by Norwegian, German leaders & Sri Lankan professional boat builders and delivered to a world wide market.
